Woodstock Honing Compound

This is a big chunk of an extra fine honing compound. For the amount you use each time, this will last you for a very long period. So you have to think about how to store it so it doesn’t dry out. In a ziplock bag is ideal.

To apply this to a leather strop och buffing wheel, use light pressure. You don’t need so much for it to be effective and too much can be bad for the finish.

You can use the leather stop without honing compound with great result, but this speeds up the process quite a bit. But I recommend you finish on leather without the compound.
