Mk.II Honing System

Sharpening jig

Brass knobs

This is one of the finest manual honing jigs out there. It has everything you need to get the absolute most of your whetstones. It is crucial for your sharpening result that you sharpen dead square, otherwise the quality of your work will suffer. Luckily this jig comes with its own squaring apparatus to ensure the steel is square to the stone. It also has the most common sharpening angles indexed and ready to go, so you can set up as fast as possible.

Establishing a micro bevel on other jigs usually mean that you have to set everything to a different angle. But on this jig its just a matter turning a knob to set the whole thing in micro bevel mode.

It’s made from quality material and you can expect it to last for a lifetime. Keeping that in mind the price is not that high. Considering all the times you are going to use it the price per sharp tool is really small.
